Welcome to the Writing Center

The Writing Center's goal is to help clients not only improve on a single draft, but also to help develop skills that allow them to become better writers and critical thinkers as well as feel more confident in their own writing process.

Trained writing consultants provide one-on-one consultations at any stage in the writing process-- brainstorming to the final paper! We assist with any kind of writing, including:

  • essay assignments
  • application letters
  • resumes
  • creative writing
  • personal statements
  • presentations

The Writing Center's services are free and open to JWU faculty, staff, and students.
