You may notice a few changes when searching in the library catalog or using the library's databases. In June, the Johnson & Wales University Libraries, including the Denver Campus Library, began transitioning to a new library management system. Many of the public changes went into effect before the start of the new school year while many more will be wrapping up in December.
What do these changes mean to you? It is now easier to login to databases from off-campus using your JWU Wildcat email and password. You will no longer have to remember that pesky 14-digit barcode number on your JWU ID! Starting in January, you can use that same login to place holds on and renew library materials as well as check your library account.
With any transition there can be hiccups along the way and we apologize for any inconvenience (multiple overdue notices anyone?). If you do come across something that’s just not right – in the library catalog or our electronic resources - please let us know. We are here to help!
Thanks to Lacy Hafner, Abigail Jones and Piper Thompson for making the Library bookdrop into an awesome wildcat and securing first place in the Homecoming Office Decorating Contest!
During fall term finals week, the Finals Fairy hid gifts for students around the Library. Using clues posted to our social media sites, students found snacks, games, and energy drinks to help them through finals. You can find photos of the #jwdlibraryfinalsfairy on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
